Photochromic pigment is a kind of micro capsules powder that enwraps photopigment, the pigment changes colors when exposed to Sunlight or UV light, and reverts to its original color when sunlight is blocked. As the high environment sensitiveness of photopigment, wrapped in synthetic resin micro capsules (dozens to hundreds micron particle size) will enhance its stability, realize its widely application in Leather, Textiles, Paints, Plastics and cosmetics industries, create more fun and added value.
Application suggestion:
1.Average particle size 3-10um, photochromic dye content 2%-5%, moisture content ≦3%
2. Good heat & solvent resistance and dispersibility
3. Dosage of oil/water base paint & ink : 5% - 30%
4. Dosage of plastic injection & extrusion: 0.2% - 1%, avoid above 230oC process temperature，used together with thermal stabilizer
(Take 20um film, 0.2cm wall thickness plastic products for example ）
